Found a USA 1901 $10 Note, 'Real' or 'Fake'? [solved]

Hi all,

Bought an old Duncan Phyfe sewing cabinet in garage sale and this was in one of the full drawers of junk. It has the feel of real money, but what do I know... The top three images are truer to actual colors, the full images are way off color. Hoping it is real, but expect it is not. I know it is illegal to make copies that have both the front & back images in their original printed size, and not have 'COPY' or 'COUNTERFEIT' stamped on them somewhere. Some opinions needed as to what this might be. Thanks... Dan

Not at all real, in my opinion.

The back is printed way off; there isn't even a margin on the top. Compare to this picture of a real note:

Besides, something about the paper and printing just seems off ; too "flat". Modern reproduction.
Seems that there's a hidden word beginning with "C" on the right of the obverse ?
The paper composition looks off. Also the security threading seems printed.
I sell my Duplicate or Un-Needed coins on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/str/coinsandmorenj.

Someone probably tried to hide the "Copy" IMO.
Someone tried to hide the word 'COPY'... that makes sense! Under 30X loupe it appears as a scribble.

Thanks everyone... Dan
