Which country, as per the Numista listing, has the least number in total as owned by the membership.
My guess is Ivory Coast or perhaps Saarland.
I suppose it needs a referee to access this information, but would be interesting to find the lowest 5
I think we should keep it to officially registered coins only.
I see that a few of the ancient countries have even fewer owned coins:
- Suebi Kingdom
- Himyarite Kingdom
- Lombard Kingdom
- Kingdom of the Gephids
There are probably many countries not listed in the catalog. For example, I have a coin from Pahplagonia (pre-Archaemenid), which the search function can't find at all.
I remember Frenchlover posted a list where we can see some countries which have no owners at all, and then those that only have 1-2 owners, some with 3-4, and so on.
Found it; this is from Jan 2017, so maybe outdated but it should give you an idea:
I do not really understand the country/issuer set up, but really looking for a country, say, Ivory Coast, where the total number of coins that members of Numista have is the lowest.
It may mean that more than one member own the same coin, but in total, it is the lowest.
So according to Numista between all the coins listed there are apparently 3,587 members I'm sure that it's actually lower since one member could have multiple coins but that's what I was able to pull from the catalog.
