Thanks, I understood that. But I tried to make a joke, because I do not like Mcdonalds at all, where their
'food' tast the same as the box what is used to wrap it...

I honestly doubt their products are 100% what they claim to be on the wrapper/box....

I grew up on McDonald's, along with pickles, potato chips (crisps), hot dogs, peanut butter and jelly, American cheese, and Lebanon bologna, and the burgers were better than anything Mom cooked. But then again I even liked the school cafeteria food better than Mom's cooking. And I have lived almost 70 years and the only major health problem I have is nerve damage of unknown cause, so I don't think the diet harmed me.

Just got back from McDonald's. Had a Big Mac and got a coin. My coworkers gave me their coins, so I have 3 of the designs and 2 doubles.
This makes me happy, as I grew up with the Big Mac and enjoy eating them.
Aaaaaw so jealous! :o
Why the hell France isn't participating? ><

Wonder if they are doing it in Germany? Guess tomorrow is Big Mac day.

What if I’m vegetarian and don’t want to spend money to throw the burger away? Can I buy something else and get the coin?

I'm sure at least a few of McDonalds' burgers don't contain meat. ;)
I went to McDonald’s tonight to ask about their Mac coin and they said that it was only for one day. Is it true? I really want at least one of them without paying the ebay prices.

I went tonight too and got one. Simply asked if they still have coins available. I think it was initially for one day but can last until they're all sold out.
Apparently the coins are not available in Thailand either.
Indeed, no Thailand either!

Got 2 Mac coins today. The first location was terrible. The manager was lazy and rude, there were flys inside, and it was empty. I asked the manager how big a Big Mac is (I never been to McDonald’s before) and the manager looked at me like I’m a lunatic and told me he doesn’t understand, but that’s not the point. I asked the worker that I ordered the food from if I will be getting 2 mac coins since I ordered two macs, and he said yes I will. I received the macs and only one coin. The manager then showed me his little paper with the rules about the coins. I ended up returning one burger. Then I drove to another location and the person there was pleasant. At first I asked him if they had any coins left, to which he said the promotion was a one day thing. I told him the advertisement said while supplies last. He looked around and found the last 4 that they had. I ordered a Big Mac with no meat and received my second coin :D
Interesting token indeed. It's interesting to think what would be the survival rate after this year. Mintage is 6.2 million total and I quess many will take the free Big Mac instead of keeping the token.
I got 3 of the tokens on Saturday and had to ask for them. Received them with no problem. I am sure they'll give them away as long as they have them and people keep buying Big Macs. Just make sure to ask.
By the way, all 3 are available for swaps.
in swasiland its advertised if you have 50!!! of those coins you get a free big mac.

can somebody confirm that this offer applies to their countries too?

I will take picture of proof later.

It’s 1 coin for 1 Mac in the USA for both when you buy and when you trade.
you are right!

Those idiots showed the reverse on our advertisment and i read it as 50 coins needed.
<:D

Anyhow i have got mine graded and slabbed already. pop:1!!!

Still one available for swap, and for less than Ebay prices.

i have the 5 types of the token, here in Brazil the promotion least for a week. i edited the token page add the picture. :)
Got this here in Missisauga just now at the RCNA show free with the entrance ticket. Apparently only 50,000 have been released in Canada, but you can’t get them at the MacD stores; you’d have to call in to radio shows or at events like these.

There is a raffle draw for the 5 piece set, so let’s see if I’m lucky enough to win it ;)

I'm not sure if it's kind of cool they made a token for each decade of the 50 years of the Big Mac, or if it's a moneymaking ploy targeting collectors, but imagine if legal tender coins (e.g. commemorating the 50th anniversary of D-Day) had decade-by-decade commemorative issues like that, .g. 1944-54, 1954-64. It would be completely pointless, so I guess only the Golden Arches can pull it off.

It looks like you are trying to settle scores from elsewhere in this topic. If you have nothing to contribute about macdonald tokens in this topic, then don’t post here. Thanks
wow, you really are serious? B.

I like those HGC low tech slabs. Are you accepting submissions? I have a Hutt River $7 coin on which I'd like the opinion of a genuine expert. How does $50 sound plus return shipping from Swaziland?
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.
