Japanese/Chinese holed token?

Hello again!

Here is a strange holed coin I've never come across before. I can't decipher the letters (they look like kanji but maybe it's one of these things that we call esen?)

It's also kind of strange that it has six characters instead of four. What can this be?

Twopence a week, and jam every other day!
南無阿彌陀佛 (Namo Amitabha)
similar characters with this one, but different token.

Yes it's a Nembutsu Sen (Pray to Buddha Coin) but I have not found an exact match in my Hartill catalog.
Oh! These are helpful clues. Thank you!

So I guess the picture was upside down – and it makes sense I couldn't decipher it. I thought the first two letters that way looked like 南無 but I dismissed the idea because I only knew the mantra as 南無阿弥陀仏!

If you want a reference: it's a common regular script variant DHJ#7.88 in Early Japanese Coins by Davd Hartill
