This is a strange item - same on both sides. Looks as though it had a loop for a chain? Very nice to look at... what is it?

A very crudely-drawn necklace pendant?
Necklace pendants that are made first-hand are usually poorly drawn. This one looks like an Arnold Machin attempt.

Yes, quite a stylised almost African like representation... I'm quite amazed at the things that end up in bulk coin lots! Thanks for the input. I'll google Arnold Machin for fun.

Oh alright,
It does look like a reproduction from Africa. Arnold Machin is the one who designed the old Elizabeth II portrait.
