Strange Chinese/Victoria coin

Anybody any ideas on this coin?

Hello,

This medal seems pretty strange:
- there is a spelling error in "Shanghai China"
- the coin is dated 1936, several years after the completion of the Central Mint of China (ref) and long after the death of Queen Victoria
- the medal is not in the Standard Catalog of Unusual World Coins, which lists other "Central Mint Completion" medals.

It might be a fantasy medal, inspired from the 1930 Central Mint Completion medal, showing Sun Yat-Sen and no spelling error (see here).
Perhaps someone else can give you more information.

The same coin appeared on eBay a few months ago (see here). Where did you find yours?
The one in ebay looks the same as mine
I was given mine in Thailand
Remember,

You can't trust Asian coin markets. And that's coming from an Asian. If you buy "silver" coins from the same market and if one coin is fake, it is more likely that the rest are fake. Usually if the coins are very white and don't have tarnish or will not tarnish, they're made of pewter or another white metal.
