First, Awesome site! I frequently visit for research purposes. The information you provide is outstanding thank you !
Second, I am an avid US coin collector and when purchasing coin lots here in US I often get a lot of foreign coins. Being a true coin nut I research them (learn about them) and set aside by country because they are not my primary interest. I recently realized the inventory is getting big, either by country, date and or condition, so I'd like to pass them onto my fellow numismatists.
Let me know what country/date you are looking for. I may have it and then we can do some bartering. Some of these coins go way back early 1800's in common material and silver and gold.
Hello and welcome aboard !
The best way to swap is to register your doubles.
After a good walk in the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, you take out your doubles from envelopes and you enter them progressively in the Numista database.
And you can also meet collectors. In less than 200 miles from your home, there are 200 collectors registered on Numista ! You're not alone
Welcome to Numista! I am just returning after a break from the hobby. There is a lot of great and high quality posts here. Everybody who contributes is incredibly knowledgeable, whom I would even call subject matter experts, and we're lucky to have them.
I am always interested in pre-1900's coins if you want to send me a private message!
What I collect: US, 3rd Reich Germany, Philippines, Ancients, Vatican City, North Korea.
