It's going to be interesting to see all the WWI Armistice Day Centenary commemoratives.

I'm also curious to see what sort of events are being planned in Paris and London for the 11th of November.

I was surprised when I saw the colour in the coin after reading this a few months ago.

​Hi Ben-- yes we had our first coloured coin 3 years ago(black)- so this is second-- both done in CANADA and can be bought at face value from NZ POST- mininum of 40 coins -- these are the only 2 circulating commerative coins in last 74 years ( 1947 crown ) Murray

The title says ANZAC, but the link shows Armistice. Are they the same event?

I think this is the 2nd coloured circulating commemorative coin from NZ. The first one was issued in 2015 (ANZAC).

​Yes you are right . The Anzac relates to the troops involved in the armistice though AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND ARMY CORPS
