It's commonly, but wrongly associated with France; and most of us have probably had this item before at some point in our lives.
Is it something to eat?
Yes, something you eat.

Although not the obvious one you might be thinking of; the shape of this item is (supposedly) derived from Islam, but it was created in a predominantly Catholic country (not France, though it is associated with it).

Croissants..?

Yes, a pastry; and yes, croissants!

Supposedly derived from the kipfel, a viennoiserie that was also supposedly created to celebrate the defeat of the Ottomans at the 1683 Siege of Vienna in the Great Turkish War (1683-99). Key word supposedly, because we don't know for sure.
Is croissants the answer or is it a type of croissants that we still need to guess?

Quote: "doc_man"Then the answer is Time or clock
No, a clock is not really alive.
And why would a businessman like to sell clocks over other things?

Maybe I made the thing to difficult or the valued fellowcoincollectors think in the wrong direction.
I will give a hint here; it has nothing to do with numismatics, but with some fantasy, it has a small
connection with filamatics (If I wrote it right, I mean the poststampcollecting)
...you can run,  but you can't hide...
Should be a pigeon then. :O Like those who people buy to release on weddings. Once released, they go back to the dealers and they are sold again, and released again, and returned again...
