I bought this coins lot yesterday for 26$..
What do you think?
Well, it would definitely be worth it if none of the coins were holed or had bits soldered to them, but then again if that were the case you probably wouldn't have gotten this lot for 26 euro. I'd say not too bad price-wise.
some nice pieces there, despite damage.
A fair price, in my opinion.

There is a collector community of 'holed coin' . Not my thing, but I understand.
Many early USA silver coins too, like that, can be had for small money, that would otherwise be very expensive.

True , they are very expansive ..
With silver coins , if you buy them as much as the silver is worth, you will never be at loss ...

This is a very subjective topic. Some collectors take keen interest in collecting holed coins... or coins that are used as ornaments or embellishments... However, most of them would not prefer collecting such coins as they are deformed or have been damaged intentionally... Personally, I think it’s a good buy considering the pricing... cheers!
Hahaha that 500 euro banknote underneath haha xD
There is a market for everything and to each his own but personally once a coin is defaced like those, I would have offered spot silver price only based on silver content and weight of each coin and would have added them to my scrap collection until Silver rebounds where I could profit.

Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!
