Exact ID needed for two Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth coins! [solved]

6 posts
Hello,

I have these two coins from the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth, that need an exact ID, as I need to know which year line they belong in; at the moment both are listed in my collection as "unknown type". Weight is unfortunately still unavailable because of my lack of a digital scale.

14.5mm diameter, copper, also appears to have been clipped;

20mm diameter, silver/billon;

I'm not even sure if I have the right pages, or if the coins' exact types are even identifiable (they're both pretty worn), but thank you anyway in advance!

correct, but there are thousands variations, even contemporary forgeries.
Perhaps you can ask Piotr?

or Damian:

Or you can buy the book about these 'Boratynka'

I do not always have the solution, but most of the time I know where to search.
I have a lot of these polish coins, so I know who helped me for determination.
The date is 166?. Last digit is cut of the coin.
(1660-1665: later coins are more rare)
But perhaps with other details, it can be dated correct.
