Can anyone tell me how much a Kreuzer of Solothurn is worth 1795? NGC not providing me with anything.

Are you sure it is 1795, and not a worn 1796 or 1798 date? No doubt you would have seen the above page - where there are six years on there - 1760 / 62 / 94 / 96 / 97 / 98 so no 1795 on there.  :)

Apart from the last two dates on there, the prices go from $10 to $350 so is better than nothing.  8)

P.S. It could be the other way of course, and it is indeed 1795 - but is not a 1 Kreuzer, and may be a 10 or 20 Kreuzer, for example. Does it look like the image on that link above - or do you have a picture?

Ok, What have I got then?

I'm not sure, guess this is not Billon:

Should have paid more attention to weights and diameters:

1.9g weight 22.8mm diameter 0.5 mm thickness
looks like copper from the photo
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins
Any more help on this?
I'm almost positive this is extremely debased billon from the look of the wear on the reverse, and I'm almost positive this is a 1/2 Batzen and that Krause has the legend wrong (at least for this year).  If, however, this is truly copper, then it's a contemporary counterfeit of a 1/2 Batzen.
Hello,
It is similar to the 1/2 Batzen, but normally it is billon!
