I am new to messages and trading. Someone is asking for my facebook account to ease communication. Are there potential problems with that?

A am going to start trading. Primary goals, countries, types, beauty, history. Silver trades for silver.
I would not give, or accept, any friend requests from this site. They will be able to see how you look like, and get more information about you. I think the numista messaging system is good enough for communication.
Up to you but swapping on Numista is handled through its own messaging system.
Facebook is not integrated with Numista so besides using Messenger that would not necessarily ease any process.

I would not do transactions through Facebook unless it's someone you know well. I have a few members from this site that I've dealt with in the past that I keep in contact with outside of Numista. But if you do your swaps through Numista then you have a record of the swap that you can report to the moderators if it goes bad, you would not get that if you deal through Facebook.
But it's up to you, if you're comfortable with it then go ahead, but the fact that you've posted the question on here suggests to me that you're not comfortable with it.
