I have loaded images before and had no problems. Earlier I uploaded two images of a Byzantine Follis and it comes up as two black boxes, but when you click on the box it does load up an enlarged image of the coin. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the cause or how to fix it?
maybe this has something to do with the software you use to "compile" image files.
it happens with some formats I think - other than that, I don't know
btw: wrong forum section - this thread belongs to Numista Website I think

Solved! I see they were PNG (Portable Network Graphics) files, and should be JPG ideally. I copied them in to a folder, then put 'Save as' jpeg instead - and kept your copyright the same. So any more you have, just convert them - or I can do it for you, if you send to me in a Private Message attachment.
Thanks, I feel daft, I had converted them into JPG and had two different sets of images as I use PNG for my site. I must have uploaded the images from the wrong folder.
Yes I do have the same problem, my images are jpg! I uploaded some images on the swap/sale forum and no images, just url, and not clickable....EazyDog seems to have found a way to make my images visible on his own post. I messaged him asking how he did it, waiting for him.

I'm not an expert in any kind of coins, but I reckon I'm good at research and will do my best to help. Feel free to tell me my identifications/valuations/gradings are wrong. It's the only way I'll learn.
