It holds claim to the longest place name in Europe, and second just to a hill in New Zealand.
It was basically a class inside joke for me a few years back. Only one person could actually pronounce the name correctly.
And since I’m visiting the British Isles, I though it would be a great idea to go here. After all, it’s just two hours by train, one way. I came here literally just for the giggles.
Not a lot in the way of tourism, but there are a few souvenir shops around. The biggest tourist spot is literally just the train station, with the ridiculously long name on it.
