Thanks for being so helpful in my previous topics, I have 2 coins, which are presumably the same (one being clipped), they really look familiar, with walls of a castle on observe and a big cross on reserve. But your help will be very appreciated. weight below 1g for both:
thanks a lot in advance!

Hello,
I don't think it's this coin : the lettering doesn't seem to match on the cross side and the aspect of the coins is too different so I guess they are lower denominations.
This type of design was really popular in France and surrounding areas during the 13th century : there were probably more than one hundred type of this kind that circulated during this period.
For me you have two different coins here (second coin has a little cross next to the "châtel" and not the other one). The first one is most likely a denier and second one an obol.
We need better pictures, weight and dimensions for an identification here.
weight and diameter matches. The "castle" on the observe has 4 circles 2 top and 2 bottom, lettering matches, cross as well. What do you think Cycnos?
There were some tournois from French feudal I think, but somehow they didn't match..
Kind regards,
Stef

Still another one :
On the first picture, I see a C, E, or G at 3 o'clock and "VIS" at the end of the lettering.
Lot of those coins are not on numista.
If you have time, you can try to browse those books (plates of the coins are shown at the end of every files), to check them in the french feudal coinage :
Wow, with my morning coffee it took about 1h and 30 min to scroll the 3 catalogues. I can't even imagine how many varieties this coin has. I highlighted some for you to see, but I need your help in relating these to the documents, because my french is basic. It could be basically everything, from Crusader states as you say, to Latin Empire to French Feudal (I suppose Karolus/Phillipus or somebody else) to some german states.
In the document 00, there are smaller coins which resembles my smaller coin, but the "castle" is somewhat different, you may take a look at them.
Here is what I highlighted in yellow so far, would you please help me relate these numbers and letters to the document itself, so that I can try to read more?
From document 02:
Document 00: see the smaller coins on the very last 1-2 pages for feedback
Overall it's very hard to determine. Probably some chemical tests could be done to pinpoint the exact period, but even so, it's still hard due to many varieties I fear.
Cheers,
Stef

Indeed, too many coins shared this design : I have a coin of this type with a different lettering that I didn't fully identify yet !
13 : Denier of the county of Anjou minted under the rule of Foulques IV or V.
14, 15, 16 : Anonymous deniers minted in the Abbey of Saint Martin at Tours.
I didn't find the coins you mentioned in the Document 00
