Can anyone help me on values for these coins?

I am working on a swap with someone and I do not know much about coin value. If someone could maybe guide me to a good site for coin values, that would be great :P

Here are a couple of pictures of the coins - I know which coins they are and have them cataloged, just don't know prices and I know a lot of you on this site are masters at coins!

   Just fill in the first three boxes (Country, Region, Denomination) and, like I did, the Date (1954) as well if you know it (and/or Catalog Number), to make it easier, then click on the blue Search box.

Would anyone be able to help me with grading the quality of these coins? That website is helpful for prices but I am not too sure of how I should grade coins :/ I do not have any experience with that...

Thanks kommodore... and what a fast response! lol. Now I just have to study my coins to determine their quality... maybe I can post my thoughts here after and you could let me know if you think my evaluations of the coin are correct?

That just goes to show that grading can so often be a personal, subjective process. My personal opinion is that you have been overly generous on those grades and I would knock most of those grades down a notch. However, that is only MHO and someone else might agree with you. I think the best advice on grading your own coins is to do as much reading and research as you can and then grade your coins in a manner that you are comfortable with.

I've been a little generous but I think those coin can be easily cleaned a little and look better then they are now.
They are not heavily scratched or something like this.
But sure grades differ from person to person.

Thanks for the thoughts radrick... kommodore was grading my coins though so he waant being biased towards his own coins but i do have another question now... Lol... what would be the best way for me to clean my coins without damaging them? All my coins were stored away by my grandfather for years so there really isnt much wear on them.

Hi aswitzer, yeah I realise kommodore was grading your coins but the point I was trying to make is that one person might grade your coins favourably (e.g. kommodore) and another person might grade them a bit lower (e.g. me) It can be very difficult to say who is right and who is wrong which is why I suggested that one should grade one's own coins

Now you've really opened a can of worms   Don't even get me started on the subject of cleaning   Can I suggest that you do a search on the forum (I think you can find the function at the bottom of the forum index page) since the subject of cleaning coins has been covered many times before

Very true radrick... I will keep that in mind for sure especially when swapping with someone. It will be good to get pictures of coins before i complete trades. That seems to work out so far :)
