Hi, I have started adding new banknotes and come to my first issue. I have 2 questions
Many banknotes are from a "Currency" that did not also have coins and as such cannot be added to the catalog accurately
e.g. Angola from 1995-1999 had a series of banknotes but no coins for their currency
Kwanza reajustado, AOR, 1995–1999
I have messaged the referee of Angola for them to add the currency to the list but upon reflection I am not sure if they have the powers or is the correct route to go in asking for these changes.
What is the best course of action when this happens and who do a make a request to, to add new currencies?
1. A Catalog administrator
2. A Coin master referee
3. T̶h̶e̶ ̶r̶e̶l̶e̶v̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶r̶e̶f̶e̶r̶e̶e̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶i̶s̶s̶u̶e̶r̶/̶c̶o̶u̶n̶t̶r̶y̶ I have since found normal referees cannot and there are different referees for banknotes and coins
And in the meantime what should be done?
1. Add the banknotes under "unknown currency"
2. Wait until the currency has been added
3. Some other option?
It might be a good idea to ensure most of the common banknote only currencies are added before too many banknotes are added.
Currently the best way is to create new thread on the catalogue forum and mark it as a request for create/modify currency. That way you are reaching to all who can create currency and ensure that your request wont be forgotten.
