Help, I can't classify it

That's a very unusual coin. For most coins the obverse and reverse are the same size, but there is a huge difference here.

Please provide the diameter and weight of the coin. It would also be useful to crop the images--that would improve the images (and reduce the apparent discrepancy between the size of the two coins).
It may be French, with Latin lettering.

I got that from DNI (abbreviation for DOMINI) as I had seen it on previous
identifications I did. Some other letters from my previous reply are also visible ...



but not sure if BENEDIC is on there - may be something else. No idea what
the design is on the other side, though again some letters (IN) are visible.
