We have a slot for watermarks. But only for a single watermark.

How should we handle the fact that sometime there is more than one watermark? a new listing? a multiple watermark slot? A watermark in the watermark slot, and then others in the comments? How about the "Cornerstone" watermark?

Lets discuss this...

Maybe make something like (first picture) on the coin creation page ...

where there is only one space for a Reference number,
but below it is, if needed, a clickable part to add more.
So then maybe the banknote page could look like in the second picture.

I agree, if ZacUK's suggestion could be easily implemented within the parameters of the Numista program it would make sense. What would be the negatives of such a solution?

maybe database design ...
I'm not sure this is an extremely necessary extension. First, how many cases are we talking about here? Second, I feel like current functionality is sufficient even for multiple watermarks. I'd just create a single image with multiple watermarks and add enough text in the description.

An example for this note:

(this is a single image file)

Yes, creating this single image may not be trivial but if people have learned to use PhotoScape to rotate and crop images for coins I'm sure with good instructions they can learn to put multiple snippets into a single picture.

Also, if one is crafty enough to make a good picture of a watermark they will very likely be able to do this without instructions anyways. :)
I don't have enough different watermarks of the German inflation kind but I suggest something similar to the Krause tables. Either with real pictures or we find someone that can draw or generate the geometric forms and leave it black and white.

So how we're going to deal with this?

For example https://en.numista.com/catalogue/note208841.html has different watermarks for P#100a and P#100b

I like this.
Hey.
If a Notes gets a New design on the outside , Obverse or Reverse, its a new Note. Thus I think, If it gets a New design on the inside, Watermark, its a New Note. Just My opinion. And the system is used in reference catalogues as SIEG SD
