Can we please add Pound (1825-1972) with subdivisions 12 Pence = 1 Shilling, 20 Shillings = 1 Pound? It's required for Malta's banknotes. 1825 is when sterling was introduced, see

It isn't clear when the first local notes were produced so 1825 seems the best date at least for now.

There was several issuers for the pre-decimal Maltese Pound notes.

If someone could please add Pound (1825-1972) to Malta, we can get on with adding the notes from this period. Otherwise, we'll have to go back later and add the currency to all of them.

I agree with you there.

Aidan.
Now that the ruling authorities have been added to Malta (https://en.numista.com/forum/topic99854.html), could we please have the earlier currency added, "Pound (1825-1972)"?

The 1972 - 2007 decimal currency of Malta was also known as the Maltese Pound in English.

Aidan.
I just added this. <:D
