I have bin thinking to go to my local currency exchange store any buy some world coins specifically Bermuda,Bahamas, cayman islands and Belize.

apon some research they have new modern notes from 2013-present with out the queen for Bermuda and Bahamas but also have notes from 2010 and a few years before that have the queen on them. Do these notes still circulate the older ones or are they harder to find ?

To answer your question about whether old banknotes are still used or not depends on quite a few factors. First and foremost is whether or not the notes have been demonetized. If they have not been demonetized then in theory they could still be used. With that being said though, generally when there are new issues of banknotes they are made to replace older ones which become harder and harder to find because of attrition and the banks culling them in favor of newer notes. While its possible banks might have a few older notes, in times of cash surpluses for banks the older notes are more likely to be sent back to the central bank and then most likely destroyed. Also as older notes become harder and harder to find it seems that is when locals are more likely to hold on to them which again removes them from the regular economy. In theory they can be used if not demonetized but being around at the right time may be pure luck. About the coins, if its a certified exchange agency they do not deal in coins. As some countries drop lower denomination notes in favor of coins, making exchanges are going to get trickier and trickier. Have you looked into whether or not there is a leftovercurrency office near you? You could get coins through them if they happen to have them.

The nearest left over currency is in London and I am in America so I don't want to waste money to pick up five dollars. your points where really good and I have a feeling the notes I want will be there to buy.

one time I was at a store and person who was visiting from Australia was trying to use a 2 dollar bill in 2011 when they where long gone from commerce and replaced with a coin ( I bought it from him for face)

with this experience I guarantee nations still have stock piles of currency that was once used in other nations epcieally common wealth realms.
All the new and current notes of Bermuda have the Queen on them.
