Counterfeit Deterrence System (CDS)

Have you had difficulties when taking photos of your banknotes, has photocopy stopped with a message of counterfeiting? I took some photos yesterday and I couldn't copy one of those banknotes because of CDS. That banknote was from year 2005. I learned that some newer photocopy scanners can notice that you are making copies of banknotes and stop doing that. Is there any other way than using camera in those cases? My scanner is Epson.

I use a cheap photo-scanner that came with a program that can't recognize the EURion constellation apparently.
