Asian coin? copper, smaller than a dime. I'm unable to read the coin [solved]

I don't know anything about this coin or whether it is even a coin. It has a hole in it, not sure if the hole was made later since it is slightly off center. Sorry for the sort of poor images but I tried to enhance the pictures since the coin is dark and the symbols are difficult to read.
