Since 2006 the Netherlands issues special coin sets of limited mintage, sold only at World Money Fair in Berlin .

The folder is part of a five-part series dedicated to Dutch painters ("Holländische Meister").

This is the fifth issue and is dedicated to Piet Mondriaan.

Pieter Cornelis Mondriaan, (1872-1944), known after 1911 as Piet Mondrian, was a Dutch painter and art theoretician who is regarded as one of the greatest artists of the 20th century.
