I would like to ask you for help on the catalogue with image cropping. Below will be list of coins that are in need of cropping so that they would have entirely white background. Only one strict rule - when modifying images, choose option to leave the same SOURCE of the IMAGE.
Requests that will change image source will be rejected. Thank you.

I am taking a look at the U.S./ Cuba/ Philppines among others catalogs and entering/updating/ refining many of my coin collection and will crop as many as I can (including some of my old submissions) as I go along.

Hello everyone, is there anyone brave enough to take on this Liberian "wonder"?
https://auctions.stacksbowers.com/lots/view/3-1M70JY/liberia-silver-40-dollars-kilo-2001-lunar-series-gem-proof
I'll make the central 40 dollars coin myself; I "only" need the 12 outer pieces shaped like puzzle pieces. One common obverse and 12 different reverses.
Thanks @Trooper8

First picture is done - twelve of the same
Will take some time to do the twelve different on the reverse …

Thanks. I do not have one of those programs that somehow does it
quickly in one click - I did it manually one at a time in Windows Paint. ⏳

which one better?
Hi, I don't see many difference, I like both and, for me, the image quality is sufficient for creating the page. This is much better than having no images at all. Thank you so much!

Many mant thanks, a great job and so fast.
This is one of the qualities I appreciate most about Numista: that people who don't know each other all collaborate with the intention of making the best website possible. Thank you again!!! 🥰

Please someone take this:N#12426
Up until two months ago the main images were fine, but then they've been changed to this:
I already had a change request back in March to change them to more appropriate ones. That was approved after a couple of weeks but then they were soon reverted back to these: After another round of request and another round of waiting a couple of weeks, my request was approved. And then the images are immediately flipped to this beauty: So, yeah, I'm done with this nonsense, I'm not going to bother to open a third request to fix this as it's obviously pointless. If someone is interested, these are the images that I've tried to use: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic92412-7.html#p1329507

Please someone update these images with proper ones:
N#5589 N#5349
N#6840
No need to crop them, as the images are heavily tilted, small, blurry and also some of the actual coin parts are cropped out. Not sure why these changes were approved, a couple of days ago these images were just fine. Update: I've found the originals for the 5 and 50 cents in WaybackMachine. The images are admittedly not great, but still much better than the current ones.

Guess that happens when there's not a dedicated referee.
Did you notice all three are 2026 coins and the year in the lettering didn't change?
There isn't a 2026 year line on any of them. Maybe the request was to add a new year line and somehow got crossed up?
Here are the old images:
I'll replace the three and add the 2026 year lines but I'd like input from @Jarcek first to see if that's the right way to handle this or just crop the new pictures.

Hello, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
1 - it should not have been accepted in the first place
2 - people change pictures instead just sharing them as proof of a new line is quite common…
3 - it would be the almost right change - just reuploading the pictures would remove original copyright
4 - I reverted the change internally, restoring the previous state
Thank you all!
